הטקסט העברי נלקח ממאגר ספריא. נוסח הגמרא הוא נוסח ויקיטקסט. פירוש רש״י נלקח ממהדורת וילנא, או ממהדורת ויקיטקסט כשיש בה יותר רשומות פירוש. מספר הפירושים אינו מעיד על איכות הנוסח.
שמות הפרקים ותחומי הדפים נלקחו ממפתח הפרקים של ספריא. בדף שבו מתחיל פרק חדש באמצע העמוד, הכותרת מציגה את הפרק שבתחילת העמוד.

המאגר כולל את מסכתות התלמוד הבבלי הזמינות במהדורה זו. שקלים מן התלמוד הירושלמי ומשניות קינים ומידות אינן כלולות. במקומות שבהם הפירוש המקובל הוא של מפרש אחר, כגון רשב״ם בבבא בתרא, הוא אינו מוצג בשם רש״י. היעדר רש״י בדף אינו מעיד שאין עליו פירוש.
שילוב רש״י
התוכנה מתאימה את הדיבור המתחיל למילות הגמרא לפי כללים קבועים. אין שימוש בבינה מלאכותית להתאמה. לאחר ההתאמה מוצג גוף הפירוש בתוך הטקסט, בלי לחזור על הדיבור המתחיל. נוסח המקור נשמר בנפרד.
התאמה אוטומטית יכולה לטעות. כשאין התאמה מספקת, הפירוש המלא מופיע בסוף קטע המקור במצב משולב. במצב בלחיצה מוצגים רק פירושים שיש להם מילים מזוהות ללחיצה. הודעה בדף מציינת אם יש פירושים נוספים.
קריאה
ברירת המחדל היא גלילה רציפה ופירוש בלחיצה. לחצו על המילים המסומנות כדי לפתוח או לסגור פירוש.
אפשר לשנות את גופן הגמרא, גודל הטקסט וצבע הנייר. גופן הגמרא הראשוני הוא Vilna PFT. גופן רש״י קבוע: BA Rashi.
אפשר לבחור ממשק באנגלית או בעברית. טקסט הלימוד ושמות המסכתות והפרקים נשארים בעברית. ההעדפות ומקום הקריאה נשמרים בדפדפן שלכם.
בגלילה רציפה, גללו מטה לעמוד הבא או מעלה לעמוד הקודם. אפשר לבחור גם את רוחב הדף, מצב הפירוש ויישור הטקסט.
דפדוף נמצא בגרסת בטא. כל עמוד נשאר שלם, עם פירוש משולב ויישור מלא. במסך רחב מוצגים שני עמודים, ובמסך צר עמוד אחד. גררו פינה שמאלית ימינה כדי להתקדם.
בדפדוף נשמר גודל הטקסט שבחרתם, ורק עמוד עמוס מוקטן כדי שייכנס לדף. אפשר להגדיל עד לגבול המקום הזמין. לקריאה באותיות גדולות יותר, בחרו גלילה רציפה.
הורדה
ההורדה כוללת תמיד את העמוד שנבחר ואת כל הפירושים הזמינים לו, משולבים בדף A4 אחד. גופן הגמרא שבחרתם וגופן BA Rashi נשמרים.
לקובץ שוליים קבועים, יישור מלא, כותרת בראש הדף ופרטי מקור בתחתית. גודל הטקסט, הצבע, היישור ורוחב הדף שבחרתם לקריאה אינם משנים את הקובץ.
השיתוף וההורדה מתייחסים לעמוד שנבחר, גם כששני עמודים מוצגים יחד. אפקט הדפדוף מבוסס על StPageFlip ברישיון MIT.
תיקונים ופרטיות
כפתור הדיווח שומר אצלכם קובץ עם תיאור הטעות, קישור לדף ופרטי המקור. הוא אינו שולח את הדיווח. אפשר להעביר את הקובץ לבעל האתר. אין צורך בחשבון, והעדפות הקריאה נשמרות במכשיר בלבד.

Hebrew text comes from Sefaria. Gemara uses the WikiSource edition. Rashi uses the Vilna or WikiSource edition with more commentary entries. More entries do not mean a more accurate text.
Chapter names and page ranges come from Sefaria’s chapter index. When a new chapter begins partway through an amud, the running header names the chapter at the start of that amud.
What is included
Loading coverage…
The collection includes 37 Bavli tractates available in this edition. Yerushalmi Shekalim and Mishnah Kinnim and Middot are not included. Other commentators, such as Rashbam in Bava Batra, are not presented as Rashi. Missing Rashi does not mean a page has no commentary.
How Rashi is placed
Fixed rules match each opening phrase (dibbur hamatchil) to the Gemara, without AI. The commentary follows the matched words without repeating them. The original source text is kept separately.
Automatic matches can be wrong. Unplaced commentary appears in red after each daf in all reading modes. Click or tap it to see the reason and possible matching passages. You can hide it in Reading options; print and PDF follow that choice.
Reading
The defaults are Continuous scroll, On click commentary, and Vilna PFT with BA Rashi. Tap marked words to open or close commentary. You can change the Gemara font, text size and paper color. Rashi always uses BA Rashi.
Controls are in English. Study text, tractate names and chapter names remain Hebrew. Your preferences and reading position are saved in this browser.
Continuous scroll loads the next or previous amud as you scroll.
Page turn is in beta: each amud stays complete, with combined commentary and justified text. Wide screens show facing pages; narrow screens show one. Drag a left corner toward the right to advance.
Page turn keeps your text size unless a page needs smaller text to fit. You can enlarge the text until the visible pages are full. Dense pages may require small text; use Continuous scroll for larger text. Width, commentary mode and alignment settings are available only in Continuous scroll.
Downloads
A download includes the selected amud with merged commentary on one A4 sheet. Unplaced commentary is included unless you turn it off. It keeps the selected Gemara font and BA Rashi, with fixed margins, justified text, a running header and source footer. Reading size, color, alignment and width do not change the PDF.
Sharing and downloading use the selected amud, even when two pages are visible. Page turns use StPageFlip, licensed under MIT.
Corrections & privacy
Report an issue saves a file on your device with your description, page link and source details. It does not send the report to the site. You can pass the file to the site owner. No account is needed, and reading preferences stay on your device.
These percentages show how many comments were placed, not how many placements are correct. Each checkpoint uses the same corpus, so changes can be compared.
The current first-occurrence rule has known errors. Review found 33 wrong moves among 50 changed locations. Higher coverage does not mean higher accuracy. Read the review.
